This was not my first option for a 2-night stay in Boston, however I had two free night awards to burn & the neighbouring Hyatt Regency Boston hovered around $400 per night. With a free hotel airport shuttle, it is just fine for a quick trip. On longer stays, I would stay elsewhere for more perks.

Park Hyatt Washington DC Review

, we booked a 3-night free stay, this time in a Park Executive Suite for $918 plus tax. Upgraded to a large corner Georgetown suite, we had more than enough space for our 3-night stay. The hotel is a good base 0.5 miles from the Foggy Bottom metro & walkable to Dupont circle. There are several hotels in the area yet the area is rather quiet & easy to navigate, would stay again.

Hyatt Herald Square New York Hotel Review

In town for a NY Liberty game we needed a central base. The Hyatt Herald was the cheapest option of the 4 star ratings, and helped me achieve another stay towards Brand Explorer.﻿ Not expecting much, we were surprised by the friendly front desk & rooftop bar staff along with the albeit small, functional & comfortable room. As we plan our return to NY for a Knicks game I am already planning our return stay here.

Located just minutes from the Chicago O'Hare Airport and a short walk from the Blue Line “L Train" offering easy access to downtown Chicago and all the excitement of the city. The hotel is situated in Rosemont featuring the Village of Rosemont which includes Parkway Bank Park, Allstate Arena, the Fashion Outlets of Chicago and more. -

We were preemptively upgraded from a Superior Room to a One Bedroom Suite in CrockFord West which was nice. Of the 3 Resorts World hotels, Crockford still remains our favorite, despite the diminishing food options & a $45 resort fee that provides no additional value.

Hotel Grand Joanne is a good base for exploring Copenhagen close to Copenhagen Central Station & Tivoli Gardens. Our two-night stay was pricey (5.422 DKK) and while the room was spacious, it had a small bathroom & view of hotel's trash. If I stayed here again in the future, I would book the Deluxe room (again) for a lower rate (under 2.000 DKK per night) without the breakfast option as there are many restaurants within walking distance.

After a Eurostar delayed & a confusing experience at Gare du Nord I had written Paris off before it even began. Thankfully the Canopy by Hilton Paris Trocadero helped pull me from the edge. It has a great location with views of the Eiffel tower & an amazing breakfast buffet (free for Hilton Gold members). With rates over €400 per night we were glad to be able to leverage 80k points per night for our 3-night stay.

We were looking for a downtown Miami hotel that could accommodate 6 people. Stumbled upon the Elser & booked directly with their 30% off 4-night promo. At $600/night our 3-bedroom suite was what we needed for our post-cruise family holiday. The hotel, while allowing 6 occupants, missed out on full points by simply ensuring there were enough amenities for all occupants. Overall a good stay & would recommend it for large groups.

We booked a King deluxe room for $359 per night (plus taxes & fees) and used a suite upgrade for the Grand Ocean Suite. Nice hotel for a few days while attending a conference. Close to Austin Convention Center with plenty of shopping & restaurants nearby. Austin is a very walkable city & this is a great base hotel. We would likely only return if we needed to be in close proximity to the convention center. Will look for other hotels in Austin for our next stay.

This is a great hotel if you want to be close to Times Square.  You have access to a lot of stores, restaurants, and parks. The biggest issue is the high cost of this hotel.

N﻿eeded a LoDo hotel to attend the NBA game. With a personable staff, spacious room & good location near shops & restaurant would definitely return.

Our one-night stay was $339.61 ($271.80 rate plus fees & taxes).

Two days before arrival 1 King Bed was listed for $716. Executive Suite ($916) and Skyline Suite ($966) were also available. The hotel was unavailable the prior night. Peak pricing was in effect as the 1 King Bed was listed for 23k points.

Grand Hyatt San Francisco Hotel Review

We were looking for a place to stay overnight in San Fran for less than $300. Our normal hotels were almost $500 and after some searching, we stumbled upon the Grand Hyatt San Fran which was priced at $275 (sans taxes).

With a location close to Market & Union, close to several train stations, shops and restaurants, it is a good home base for a few days. While the rooms are not too special, the front desk and Grand Lounge staff is very personable which makes it a great pick. While a good stay, I will test out other hotels in the area before returning to the Grand Hyatt.

Our luxury hotel in downtown Washington, D.C., is a few blocks from the National Mall, Smithsonian Museums, and historical monuments. We spent $1,131.68 ($282.92 per night) along with 24k points for a four-night stay in a Grand Suite. Due to issues during check-in (including the room not being ready 4 hours after check-in), the hotel credited back 15k points. 

This category 4 hotel has direct access to the Metro center, a central DC location, and a great staff which makes it a nice option for a long weekend in DC.

Hyatt Regency Dulles Hotel Review

After arriving on a red-eye, it was great to catch the free hotel shuttle (Ubers were $22 for the less than 2-mile journey) to this airport hotel.  By airport hotel standards, for 5,00 Hyatt points a night (Category 1), this is a great base, with spacious rooms & friendly staff. 

Located in the Hacienda Business Park, Hyatt House is a residential-style hotel ideal for extended stay travelers to the San Francisco area. Our hotel features large suites with complimentary breakfast, free parking, and a pool and hot tub for relaxation. Our spacious one and two-bedroom suites are designed to create contemporary experiences with separate living and kitchen areas, and modern work spaces. Engaging social spaces to meet with friends or colleagues, meeting rooms, and a prime location all cater to today’s traveler. - 

Hyatt House Pleasanton Hotel Review

This is a good hotel as a last option. Nothing fancy about it but you will be ok if you are using it as a place to rest your head and leave all day. 

The Flag Shinsaibashi is a 3.5-star hotel located in the heart of Osaka, Japan. The hotel is conveniently located near Shinsaibashi Station, making it easy to access all that Osaka has to offer. 

The hotel's rooms are spacious and comfortable and are equipped with all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. The hotel also has a rooftop terrace with stunning views of the city.

If you are looking for an Osaka hotel catering to tourists from the West, located in the heart of Dotonbori, this is a great place to stay.

Overall I was 'meh' about this hotel. While the room was nice & I appreciated the laundry service, it felt lacking in the Japanese culture. I would be unlikely to stay here again unless I needed to be in the vicinity for a specific reason.

This is an excellent hotel in Jakarta. The staff was fantastic, they went way above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Overall we had a wonderful time.   Highly recommended!

We were excited to stay at Park Hyatt's first and only location in Indonesia. Using 60,000 Hyatt points for our 4-night stay, along with a suite upgrade we enjoyed our Park Suite Deluxe room. We were greeted by name by all of the staff, and over the course of the 4 days, the staff remembered small details about our preferences that were incorporated throughout. Park Hyatt truly encompasses the #LuxuryisPersonal brand & we will definitely stay here again in the future.

Kennedy International Airport and is also home to NYC's only casino, Resorts World Casino New York City. The hotel offers a variety of amenities, including a restaurant, bar, gym, and casino. It also has a free shuttle service to and from the airport. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. This is a great airport hotel, albeit noting that the hotel does not provide an airport shuttle. Rooms are nicely appointed & the Regency lounge has a good variety of food. Would stay here again if I had more than a 16-hour layover at JFK. Overall a fantastic stay & I would consider staying here as a base for access to Brooklyn, with the A train nearby.

, we were excited about our stay in New York.  The MO NY has a great location, and great staff however a small room with non-blackout curtains, an uncomfortable bed at this price point, we would not stay here again.

Booked a “one more night” promo, which was no longer available closer to the check-in date; where the best available rate for the Hudson River Room was $1,495 per night.

The hotel opened in 2003 with 244 rooms across floors 35 - 54 of the Deutsche Bank Center.

Booked a two-night stay in a King Bed for 50k points before the dynamic pricing went into effect. The week of check-in, the standard King Bed room was listed for $1,325 each night or 35k points. With a great location near Central Park, along with personable staff and modern rooms, we will definitely stay here (on points) again when in New York.

Originally booked at the Conrad NY Downtown hotel, we changed to the Hyatt Centric Wall Street as it was priced significantly cheaper and allowed us to add 4 nights towards 2023's globalist status. Located in the quiet financial district, close to restaurants and the subway, it was a great base for 4 nights in NY. While we enjoyed our stay, there are so many other hotels in NY we would want to visit prior to returning.

Booked Monday, August 22 for an August 26th stay with a rate of $198/night for a King Bed Deluxe. Interestingly, three days before check-in a Centric Premier Suite was added to the list of available rooms. The day before check-in, we received a complimentary upgrade to a 7th Centric Suite (of 17 floors).

Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino Hotel Review

, we booked a three-night weekend stay at Mandalay Bay to be close to Allegiant Stadium for the Raiders game. As an M Life Rewards member, benefits are waived resort fee, however no bottle of water. I would stay here again if prices were less than $100 per night when attending events at Allegiant Stadium due to walkability ease. If prices exceed $200 per night, I would rather stay at the Four Seasons (top floors) for a better overall Vegas experience.

Crockfords Las Vegas, LXR Hotels & Resorts Review

Before our stay, I read many reviews filled with disdain for the Crockford Las Vegas. After staying at the Hilton and Conrad I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed our time here.

Booked a two-night weekend stay in a Strip View Superior King Room via Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts for $562.94 which included a 25% nightly rate discount.

After staying at the three Resorts World hotels, for $250/night, I would definitely stay at the Crockford for better service, better amenities, and an overall better Resorts World stay.

We booked a three-night stay in a Loft Suite ($334/ per night + taxes) through our travel agent and had a wonderful stay. From the amazing service to the spacious room to the expansive gym I am in love with this property and would go out of my way to stay here again.

Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas Review

, we Ubered to Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas for a one-night stay. After spending one night at the Waldorf Astoria New York when I was a teenager, I was excited to revisit this hotel brand. 

We booked a Strip View Room (506 sq ft) through a travel agent and were provided a complimentary upgrade to a Waldorf Junior Suite (646 sq ft). At check-in we were offered an upgrade to a Panorama Strip View One-Bedroom Suite (764 sq ft) for an additional $150, however, we declined.

Our one night cost $480 ($379 rate + $101 taxes and fees) which is an average price for the hotel. We stayed on Thursday night, and weekend rates (Friday/Saturday night) can command upwards of $800 per night plus the taxes and fees.

Sadly, the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas (previously the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas) did not live up to my memory of my stay at the Waldorf New York when I was younger. Overall, we had a great stay at a nice hotel with great staff members. With so many hotels in Vegas, we would only stay here again if there was a need to be in the particular vicinity for an event.

Encore at Wynn Review

Booked a one-night stay in an Encore Resort King (nightly rate of $220 + taxes & fees) through a travel agent (Virtuoso) and got upgraded to Encore Panoramic King (nightly rate $263 + taxes & fees).  Coming from the Four Seasons where I felt taken care of, the Encore at Wynn just feels like another Las Vegas strip hotel that didn't provide more than a spacious room with a view.

Four Seasons Hotel Miami Review

, we were excited for our 2nd Four Seasons experience. Four Seasons is known for its consistent service in its portfolio which was evident between our two stays.

We booked a 3-night stay at Four Seasons Miami for $1,200 ($380/night) under their "One More Night" promotion. Booking through the Four Seasons Preferred Partner program our stay came with daily breakfast ($35 per person), a complimentary upgrade, a welcome treat, and a $100 stay credit.

Located in Brickell Key the Four Seasons Miami is a great base for those wishing to be a bit farther away from the city center. Exemplary service coupled with comfortable facilities provided us with a wondering 3-night stay. We would stay here again when visiting Miami.

Definitely, an older property, however, this property is nicer and more updated than the 

At check-in, after I told Mohammed I had previously stayed at the attached 

 boutique hotel, he said that while the JW was nice, it was not that nice and to taper my expectations by not comparing the two. We used 40k points for a one-night stay when cash rates were $300/night. In the future, at the $300 price point, I would stay at Beaux-Arts, an updated property, with access to the same facilities.

Book a stay through Mandarin Oriental's "One More Night" promotion, which offered a complimentary third night when you book three nights. Under their Fans of MO program our booking came with daily breakfast ($83), one time dining credit ($100) and a late check-out (1pm).

My friend spoke highly of the MO Miami for years and I was excited for our three night stay there. We had a wonderful time and now have a new bar for luxury hospitality. Excited for our upcoming stay at MO New York in the fall.

JW Marriott Miami Review

Spent 40k points on a one-night stay during our two weeks in Miami. While the staff was attentive and courteous, the dated room made the stay feel more like a Holiday Inn than Marriott's luxurious JW brand. Rooms on the 7th floor are updated and bookable as an "Inspired" Guest Room. For 40k points or less than $250 a night, I would book a stay in the Inspired room instead.

, the Seattle Airport Marriott is the nicest airport hotel we've stayed in. With a complimentary shuttle, modern rooms, and great staff, we would stay here again when connecting through Seattle.

We paid $541.75 for a two-night “Stay for Breakfast” rate, which was $800 the week of check-in. Rates here range from $160 to $664 per night.

Note: The hotel has 9 floors in two "towers". Atrium-facing rooms will be on floors 3,4 or 5.

Booked a one-night stay in a King Deluxe City View at Las Vegas Hilton at Resorts World directly with Hilton for $233.56 ($161 room charge + $45 resort fee + $27.56 taxes). According to the rate, this rate was a 'resort exclusive' for 20% in savings.

Arriving after 11 pm, we stayed here as it would be easier to transfer to Conrad for our two-night stay, the following day.

In the future, for $200/night, I would rather stay at the Conrad, which has bigger standard rooms and more in-room amenities.

The Creekstone Inn Review

Booked a two-night stay in a Superior Room at the Creekstone Inn through Chase Travel for $525.84. Note this 9-room hotel has a 2-night minimum during the weekend.

Great location within walking distance to the town center, yet far enough for quiet nights, would definitely stay here again when we are in the Idyllwild area.

For our wedding anniversary, we used a free night award and 30,000 points for a two-night stay at Alila Napa Valley, where rates were $1,292 per night. 

After staying at Ventana Big Sur, we were excited to visit our 2nd US Alila property. With great staff, great food, great views, and a great location this was definitely a trip to remember. We would love to stay here again!

Tip: The rooms are numbered as such: building, floor number, room. So our room 232 was in building 2, on the third floor.

Vdara One Bedroom Penthouse Suite Hotel Review

After a 2-night stay in the Vdara Fountain Suite, we were offered a complimentary upgrade to a 56th floor One Bedroom Penthouse Fountain View Suite.

As an MGM Gold member, the $45 daily resort fee and $35 daily valet parking are waived. Booked under an MGM 30% deal and the Vdara Fountain View Suite costs $195 a night (total), which is pricey for a non-weekend stay in Vegas. For our dates, the Penthouse Fountain View Suite was listed for $349/night (plus taxes and fees).
